This sanctuary was designed by Nelson's Woodcraft exclusively for the Marians of the Immaculate Conception. The San Damiano Cross is a regularly offered item, the Vigil light holder, the stance for the tabernacle, the shelf, the altar and the candlestick holders were all handcrafted in the OldeCreek workshop by Mark and Mike. This commission by the Marians reflects the talent and craftsmanship present at Nelson's Woodcraft. This is the Nelson barn that will one day be the home of Nelson Woodcraft. The timber frame was dismantled from an 1889 barn, 25 miles away that was scheduled to be bulldozed for a new road and transported to the Nelson's farm. It is the largest antique Mark has refinished as of yet. The barn is 36x50' and over 30 feet tall. Mark hopes to have the barn completed and the shop moved into the barn by late fall. Future plans are for the barn to contain a gift shop as well.
